During the merger of the two companies, one vendor was selected
for Retiree Benefit Plan Administration and one vendor was
selected for active vendor management (with no call center
services). The Retiree Benefit Plan Administration project
encompassed over 25,000 retirees with over 500 benefit plans
and over 50 service providers. The active vendor management
component involved over 60 service providers and over 250
benefit plans.

The client was able to streamline processes and services.
Overall costs were reduced by improving reporting, eligibility
and premium disbursements, while maintaining core employee
benefits services.
